Best Engine Oil & Hydraulic Fluid for High-Hour Machines?

I’m putting about 1,500 hours a year on my skid steer and want to make sure I’m using the best fluids for longevity. What engine oil brand and viscosity do you swear by? Also curious about hydraulic fluid — synthetic vs. conventional, and which filters you trust most. I’ve been using OEM but wondering if aftermarket is just as good at half the price.
