New to Compaction — What’s the One Thing You Wish You Knew?

I’m brand new to operating compact rollers and compaction equipment — mostly doing small parking lots and driveway jobs. What’s the one piece of advice you wish someone had given you when you started? I’m talking about things like rolling patterns, speed control, overlap techniques, or even safety stuff that’s not obvious. I want to avoid looking like a complete newbie on my first few jobs. Appreciate any wisdom from the seasoned pros here!
