Choosing the Right Trailer for a Mini Excavator & Skid Steer

I’m in the market for a trailer to haul my mini excavator (about 8,000 lbs) and skid steer (about 7,500 lbs). I’m torn between a 14k and 20k GVWR gooseneck. Is it worth spending extra for the higher capacity? Also, what about deck length, ramps, and tie-down points? I want something versatile but safe. Any brands known for quality and durability? And how do you calculate real-world payload capacity vs. the sticker rating? Would appreciate your experience before I drop serious money!
