I’m trying to decide between a walk-behind double-drum roller and a small ride-on model for my business. Most of my jobs are 5-ton asphalt patches, parking lot repairs, and small residential driveways. Walk-behind is cheaper and easier to transport, but ride-on seems faster and less fatiguing over a full day. Is the extra cost worth it for my size jobs? Also curious about visibility and maneuverability differences in tight spaces. Real-world comparisons from people who’ve used both would be a huge help. Thanks!
