What to Check When Buying a Used Skid Steer

I’m looking at a used skid steer with about 3,000 hours on it. What are the key things I should check before making an offer? I know about checking undercarriage, engine hours, and hydraulic leaks, but what about less obvious stuff like the drive motors, chain case oil, and wear on bushings? Also, how do I test the machine properly during a demo? I want to avoid buying someone else’s problem. Any inspection checklists or red flags I should watch for? Would really appreciate your expertise!
