Komatsu Helps Build Corduroy Road Through Spreewald Wetlands

Komatsu is helping build a 2,625-ft. corduroy road in Germany’s Spreewald Biosphere Reserve to enable low-impact access to wetlands. Using a 951XC harvester with an S172 head, the timber road provides stable ground for future forestry with manual harvesting, cable yarding and forwarder transport.
