Regular scheduled maintenance keeps your mini excavator reliable and prevents expensive breakdowns.
Below is the standard service schedule for reference.

Service Intervals

✅ Daily inspection Check oil level, hydraulic leaks, track tension, coolant and grease all pivot points before starting work.✅ 50-hour service Grease all joints; inspect filters, hoses and bolts.
✅ 250-hour service Replace engine oil and engine oil filter. Check fuel filter and air filter.
✅ 500-hour service Replace hydraulic oil filter, fuel filter and air filter. Inspect hydraulic oil quality.
✅ 1000-hour service Replace hydraulic oil and hydraulic oil filter.
Full inspection of pumps, valves and cylinders.
Note: Heavy-duty, dusty or wet working conditions will shorten these maintenance cycles.

Tip

Always follow your machine’s official operation manual for the exact maintenance schedule.Feel free to share your maintenance routine in the comments.

September 17, 2026 at 6:17 am #4785I found a brand online called SHANDING. I value its price and after-sales service a lot. I’m torn between a backhoe loader and a wheeled mini excavator. Which one suits my farm better?
